Forum topic: Drupal 6 support

Hi Jonathan,

how much time does it require to port the module to D6? When do you plan the porting?

I suggest you to create a ChipIn funding for this, and also include this proposed feature in the poll.

I've gone off the idea of ChipIns. People don't want to contribute because there is no guarantee that the total will be met.

Upgrading to 6.x is a matter of implementing all the changes outlined here: http://drupal.org/node/114774 . I tentatively predict it would take four hours, so the bounty price would be $400. Obviously it will be implemented sooner or later regardless of whether or not the bounty is raised.

If the bounty is not raised, I intend to wait until reasonably stable 6.x versions of cck and views are released before I perform the surgery.

About how long do you think it will be before you'll have a Drupal 6.X module finished?

Hi!

"So, Views 2 is now basically feature complete." [...] "I'd like to see module developers start to port stuff up."

We need cck in beta also.

Both views and cck are now in rc.
