Forum topic: WoW this forum is not moving very fast

Hummm left for some time and came back but I think this forum is almost dead. One thing that I dont understand why is cron needed for this module? I just did a eval of phpmotion and they dont do the cron update each time?
I sure wish some others would jump in here and get this moving a little faster as it seems like a good module but just needs the masses to take it to the next level.
anyone offer a better option please post a link. Dont bother with phpmotion I have already played with that, it's a good module but dont like the way they charge for a simple Powered by removal, as well it's not easy to make mods on.

There will be a new release of op_video very soon with loads of new features. The cron is needed so that videos are transcoded in the background. I'll take a look at phpmotion.

that is GREAT news looking forward to the new release. As to the phpmotion this was not an attempt at any form of Slam but rather information that perhaps you could use. Also I did play around with Filmforge and as well no Cron action is need. Once you upload the file it plays just fine with out doing a manual Cron call. Now that being said I would assume "now thats a good word" LOL that they call a obj to run cron in the back ground.
As well when you say soon on the new release not to nail you down but are we talking days, months, weeks
just a little teaser to get all hipped up about.
if you need someone to do some testing I have three severs and would be more than happy to setup one for testing if need. I going to say that while I have the most current version that from your statement I should just Wait till the new one comes out and not fool with this version correct?

Cool! New features are always welcome!
I'll test everything that you release! Can we have a small list of what will be released??
It's because I have some questions, and maybe some of them will be answered with the new features...
Aprox date of the release??
Thanks!
I'll keep following your progress and, probably in the future (March, April...) I will even colaborate with you (with code and money). I don't have the money yet lol
