Forum topic: FFmpeg binary not found

I have ffmpeg installed in /usr/bin/ffmpeg and I can run it from the command line but the module reports that it cannot be found: "FFmpeg binary not found"
I thought it might be a PHP setting that is causing this but I have safe mode off and no open basedir restrictions.
I tried putting the binary in the module folder but it can't find it there, either. Is there a way to get a more verbose error message so I know what's going on here?
Any help is appreciated!
thanks,
Ethan
