5.x-2.x to 5.x-3.x upgrade guide

This is a major upgrade for your site.

1. Put your site into maintenance mode.
2. Backup your database.
3. If you have video nodes that are the built-in type (not a type with a cck video field), then these need to converted before you can upgrade to 5.x-3.x. To do this, first upgrade to 5.x-2.6 and use the utility at Administer › Content management › OpenPackage Video node conversion utility.
4. Deactivate the OpenPackage Video Node and OpenPackage Video Field modules.
5. Uninstall the OpenPackage Video Node module.
6. Delete the 'op_video' module directory entirely.
7. Decompress the latest 5.x-3.x in the modules directory.
8. Click 'Save configuration' the modules page.
9. Run update.php.
10. Click the 'Save content type' button on the edit page for your video node types.
11. You will need to repair your views.
12. Take your site out of maintenance mode.
13. Report any problems to drupal.org.
